Will fit most Norton singles with 16T drive sprockets but check your existing chain for number of links first.
Compatibility
Norton started using 16T sprockets on their singles after the engine underwent a major re-design in 1948. If your engine is pre 1948 then you will probably need the 42 link chain which we also sell. However, as so many of these engines have been worked on over the years, we recommend you check what you currently have before ordering.
From the factory the following models would have been fitted with a 44 link from 1948 onwards:
- Model 1 (Big 4)
- 16H
- Model 18
- ES2
