Overseas Shipping, VAT & Customs

Kingpin Components Ltd ships worldwide. Taxes, tariffs and customs arrangements vary depending on the destination, so the information below explains what you can expect when ordering from outside the UK.
UK VAT
Kingpin Components Ltd is not VAT registered, so our product prices do not include UK VAT.
For overseas orders, any taxes, tariffs or duties described below are therefore calculated separately from the price of the goods.
European Union
For orders being delivered to most EU countries, the applicable local VAT and handling fees are calculated and added automatically at checkout.
These charges are collected by Kingpin Components Ltd on behalf of the carrier and passed on accordingly. This means that there should be nothing further to pay when your parcel arrives, allowing it to be delivered without an unexpected VAT or handling charge.
Denmark is currently an exception. Orders sent to Denmark are supplied without Danish VAT or customs charges being collected by Kingpin Components Ltd. Any applicable VAT, customs duties or handling charges will instead be payable by the customer when the parcel enters Denmark.
United States
Orders being delivered to the USA are subject to applicable US import tariffs.
These tariffs are calculated and added automatically at checkout. Kingpin Components Ltd collects the charge on behalf of the carrier and passes it on accordingly.
This means that the applicable tariff has already been paid when your order is dispatched and there should be no additional tariff to pay when your parcel arrives.
Rest of the World
For orders being delivered to countries outside the UK, EU and USA, our prices do not include local VAT, sales taxes, customs duties or other import charges.
Any charges imposed when the goods enter the destination country are the responsibility of the customer and will normally be collected locally by the carrier or customs authority.
Import rules and charges vary between countries, so we recommend checking your local requirements before ordering if you are unsure.
