Classic motorcycles are what make Kingpin Components tick. Before there was a business, there was simply a passion for restoring and riding these incredible machines. Here you'll find some of our own bikes, along with a selection of our customers' fantastic motorcycles.
Our bikes are often used to develop new products, write technical articles and test ideas before they ever reach the shop. Although we can't take on restoration or repair work for others, we hope these pages give you an insight into the projects we're working on, the bikes that inspire us, and perhaps a little inspiration for your own classic motorcycle.

My 1928 Norton CS1 had been off the road for more than 30 years when I bought it in 2017. This is how I recommissioned the engine, gearbox, wheels and girder forks while preserving its original paint and patina.
I bought my 1934 Norton International as an incomplete project in 2011. This is the story of rebuilding it into a reliable pre-war road bike and the engineering required to make it happen.
Bought in 2013 this ES2 was restored with touring in mind. A number of modifications have been carried out to make this a very useable bike and it has been ridden over 10k miles in the UK and Europe.
